 Enviro Tech Ab Oy has completed a preparatory project to explore the potential for developing a modular, data-driven platform for Nordic berry production. The purpose of the project was to identify industry needs, evaluate technical opportunities, and establish potential collaborations with growers, research organisations, laboratories, and innovation partners.

The preparatory work has resulted in a preliminary project plan outlining how a future development project could be structured. During the preparation phase, several opportunities were identified where digital technologies, sensor data, laboratory analyses, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) could contribute to improved decision support, traceability, quality management, and resource efficiency throughout berry production. The final scope, priorities, and development roadmap will be defined in a future project application.

This preparatory project was co-funded by the European Union through Finland’s CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027. The funding is administered by the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto).
